With more than 100 miles of World class wind sports adventure, the Columbia River Gorge has to offer we have focused on Hood River as it is the Epicenter of all that is windsurfing and Kite boarding in the Gorge. It just happens to be located 63 miles east of Portland and almost the exact middle of the fun. With our usual multimedia driving directions to Hood River we show you the Event site, sand bar (kite beach) and 20 minutes of the Hatch (spring creek fish hatchery) video on the most exciting afternoon of the season, the day before the competition and even got the Down winder on tape for this movie.
